Global Growth & Transformation brings together growth, transformation, and operational excellence to shape the future of how WPP Media partners with its most important clients. The team works across global accounts and markets to define best practice, embed new ways of working, and activate the full strength of the WPP network to drive sustainable growth, stronger relationships, and long-term client value.

The Client Development Lead is a senior growth role responsible for driving strategic growth, retention, and transformation programmes across priority global clients. The role combines hands-on client engagement with portfolio-level governance, programme leadership, and cross-client value creation. It sits at the intersection of strategy, commercial leadership, and programme delivery, shaping how growth is designed, governed, and activated across the client portfolio. The role offers exposure to multiple global clients and the opportunity to influence growth at both account and enterprise level.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as a strategic growth partner to Global Client Leaders on priority accounts
• Lead growth planning, governance rhythms, and commercial accountability across the client portfolio
• Design and deliver strategic client programmes (retention, redesign, transformation initiatives)
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder growth projects and initiatives
• Embed best practice, learning, and scalable growth models across clients
• Contribute to cross-client insight, pattern detection, and capability development

Skills and Experience

YOU ARE LIKELY TO BRING
• Experience in senior client leadership, strategy, growth, or transformation roles
• Strong understanding of agency, platform, and networked business models
• Ability to work across strategy, governance, and delivery
• Commercial mindset with strong structuring and prioritisation skills
• Confidence working across complex stakeholder environments

• Commercially minded, structured, and delivery-focused
• Comfortable working at both client and portfolio level
• Strong stakeholder management and programme leadership capability
• Collaborative, pragmatic, and growth-oriented
