Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Infrastructure Engineer for one of our partners, a global leader in Information Technology Services & Consulting!
Job Summary:
The Infrastructure Engineer ensures the proper functioning of existing IT infrastructures, to maintain them and to make them evolve according to the needs and new technical solutions. The role is also to design and ensure the implementation of infrastructures on operating sites
Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper functioning of existing infrastructure
- Implement and maintain IT security
- Implement and maintain networks
- Work in cooperation with the system administrator
- Build and maintain internal and external professional relationships within the operational team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing and maintaining complex IT infrastructure (preferably in a hybrid or international environment)
- Proven hands-on experience with:
- Networking: Firewalls, switches, NAC, routing protocols, VLANs, iSCSI.
- Systems: Windows and Linux (including advanced configuration and administration).
- Storage: SAN, ZFS, Samba, and backup systems.
- Virtualisation: VMware ESXi, Hyper-V (design, deployment, and maintenance).
- Security: VPNs (OpenVPN, IPsec), secure access control, endpoint protection.
- Cloud & Identity Management: Active Directory (on-prem & Azure AD), federation, SSO.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and compliance standards: ITIL, NIST, ISO 27001.
- Experience in infrastructure monitoring tools and centralized logging (e.g., Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) is a strong asset.

- Advanced Infrastructure Management: Proven ability to design, maintain, and scale on-prem and cloud-based systems.
- Security Best Practices: Applies security-by-design principles and ensures GDPR compliance in infrastructure decisions.
- Monitoring & Diagnostics: Skilled in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system anomalies and failures.
- Change & Incident Management: Familiar with structured ITIL-based workflows, documentation, and escalation protocol.
- Compliance Awareness: Understands ISO 27001/NIST security frameworks and can contribute to audits and risk assessments.

- Team Collaboration: Works closely with colleagues across departments (Production, Ops, HR, etc.) to deliver stable systems.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Tackles problems methodically and proposes sustainable solutions.

- Adaptability: Capable of managing both long-term projects and urgent support needs.
- Service Orientation: Balances business priorities with technical feasibility and risk mitigation.
