Pipework Rigger

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled Pipework Rigger to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient rigging and lifting of pipework components during installation projects. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with pipefitters and other construction personnel to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rigging equipment to lift, move, and position pipework components.
• Inspect rigging gear such as slings, chains, hooks, and hoists for safety and serviceability.
• Work closely with pipefitters and other trades to coordinate pipe handling and installation.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during rigging operations.
• Monitor load movements to ensure accuracy and safety throughout lifting procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant rigging certifications are a plus.
• Experience in rigging, preferably in pipework or related construction fields.
• Strong knowledge of rigging equipment and safe lifting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret rigging plans and load charts.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding manual tasks.
• Commitment to following safety standards and company policies.
• Valid driver's license is preferred.
