WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Network Team Lead will support the Technical Leads, Field Technicians, Project Management and Network Engineering team to carry out a best-in-class service in the deployment of networking hardware for Global customers.
This position will require a combination of travel to various customer sites globally as well as remote support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Train new resource on EOS/client standards
- Ensures all employees receive the appropriate training and education, including ongoing compliance training.
- Ensures compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines and procedures to provide high quality service and outstanding customer care.
- Practices cost improvement strategies, maintaining profitability and growth of area.
- Provide support to the PMO team in the correct selection of field resource to ensure successful project delivery
- Implements location-specific and area quality goals and action plans in order to achieve quality standards.
- Provides informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback in the annual performance evaluation process to identify and develop talent.
- Participate in the hiring of new field resource
- Represent the EOS in meetings with Clients
- Ensure Day and Project level documentation is completed
- Train and uphold EOS Skills and Standards
- Understand skillsets and properly assign technicians to project teams
- Decipher complex Design Packs and appropriately convey questions or changes with Project Management
- Work with Project Management to help assign technicians to projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the network environment
- Ability to provide technical support through various means of communication
- Collaborate easily with network engineers and project managers
- Assisting network engineers in the form of network design, implementation, and problem resolution
- Support the onsite team to meet quality, productivity, turnaround time and other expectations
- Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably required by the company and within the competency of the post-holder
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Must have experience leading teams
- Must be able to read and understand SOP/DPKs to ensure everything is done correctly
- Must be agile, and exhibit a strong sense of urgency
- Must be responsive, efficient, have excellent customer interaction, and exhibit a high level of professionalism
- The ideal candidate will not find difficult tech problems deterring or frustrating, but intriguing and will welcome the challenge
- Good organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must have critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Be flexible and adaptable to change and hours of work, to meet the needs of the customer
- The ability to accurately communicate directions to technicians onsite or abroad
- The desire to grow through learning and taking on new projects
- Storied experience of networking hardware – routers, servers, switches, PDU’s, copper and fiber optic cabling
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, written and oral communication skills.
- Hands on experience on Juniper routers/switches/firewall, Cisco L2/L3 switches and Aruba/Cisco wireless.
- Ability to read technical network diagrams, schematics and port maps
- Ability to interpret rack build layouts and bills of materials
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of networking concepts and a desire to build skills in this area
- Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to diagnose advanced technical problems and find the root cause.
- Ability to work in and encourage fast paced and dynamic environment
- Combination of at least 8 years’ Data Center Network Deployment experience or;
- 8 years' experience in Network Engineering Deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment
- Must be available to work outside of normal business hours
- Must be available to travel to various customer sites within the US, and globally if required
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- 5+ Network Infrastructure deployment experience and 3+ Years EOS Network Infrastructure deployment experience
- OR 4+ EOS Network Infrastructure deployment experience and a Qualifying Certification (CCNA, CDCTP, DCIS, etc).
- OR a reasonable combination of these ideas.
- Bachelor's Degree/Associates Degree
- CCNA / CDCTP / ECC / BICSI / DCIE
