Do you have a passion for Accounting and an interest in learning about Royalties? We are seeking a dedicated Sr. Analyst to join our Global Royalties team. This Analyst will play a supporting role in all accounting and analyses related to royalty functions for toy and game sales. They will have direct involvement with both external and internal reporting of royalties, sales, and related areas of contractual obligations to Hasbro licensors, inventors, and Hasbro management. The Royalties Accountant interacts with various levels of personnel within Finance, Legal, Marketing, Brand Management, and Information System departments, worldwide. We are looking for someone who is team-oriented and ready to jump right in!
This is a phenomenal opportunity to partner with a variety of teams across Hasbro as well as have exposure to Hasbro's licensors and inventors!
Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA.
What You Will Do as a Senior Analyst:
- Responsible for maintaining the Corporate Royalty Expense system related to worldwide sales and royalties (Alliant).
- General ledger posting, account reconciliation and forecasting.
- Licensing and inventor contractual analysis for royalty accounting purposes.
- Regional invoicing on a monthly basis for expense accruals.
- Dollar Measure: analyze various reconciliations associated with the computations and estimates of royalty dollars in excess of $1 million.
- Work with highly confidential, contractual information relating to royalty licenses.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's in Accounting.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in finance, accounting or related experience.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- SAP Knowledge is beneficial.
