The Growth Channels Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth, growing market share, and improving the placement and visibility of Hasbro brands within designated retail accounts. This role leads key client partnerships, develops joint business plans, and partners cross-functionally to complete outstanding commercial strategies across both in-store and omnichannel environments.
The ideal candidate combines strong sales skill, analytical capability, customer relationship management, and critical thinking to deliver results in a dynamic consumer products environment.
Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday-Thursday at Hasbro's new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday-Thursday at Hasbro's HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro's temporary location in Boston, MA, Bentonville, AR or Minneapolis, MN
A day in the life as a Sales Manager:
• Develop and lead strategic customer relationships across assigned retail accounts
• Build and implement joint business plans that drive revenue growth, market share, and brand visibility
• Deliver sales and profitability targets through forecasting, promotional planning, assortment optimization, and merchandising execution
• Partner closely with replenishment and supply chain teams to support collaborative forecasting and inventory management
• Leverage POS data, consumer insights, and market trends to discover opportunities and optimize business performance
• Negotiate promotions, assortment, and merchandising opportunities with retail partners
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Trade Marketing teams to align customer strategies with broader business objectives!
• Serve as a channel expert, monitoring competitive activity, retailer trends, and evolving omnichannel requirements!
• Generate regular business updates and performance analyses, including sales results, market share insights, and recommendations to improve promotional efficiency
What you'll bring:
• Bachelor’s degree required (Business or related field preferred)
• 5+ years of sales, account management, or consumer products experience in a fast-paced environment
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and exceeding sales objectives
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and business planning skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Highly organized with strong prioritization and project management abilities
• Ability to travel 30–40%
