What is Associate IT & Cyber Security Audits?

This role reports directly to the Head of IT Audits. It is an individual contributor position with no direct reports, working as part of an extended team of three audit professionals to deliver assigned audits and develop AI-enabled continuous control monitoring solutions.

What does Associate IT & Cyber Security Audits do?

·       Key responsibilities

Execute IT audits across Jazz’s technology landscape in line with the approved annual audit plan, covering areas such as application controls, IT general controls, cybersecurity, and emerging technology risks. Support the development and enhancement of AI-driven Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) solutions, including the development and support of the Assure-X CCM tool. Have basic development knowledge to support automation of key control testing and anomaly identification in near real time. Document findings, validate evidence, and work with process owners to track remediation through to closure.  

·       Key Deliverables 

Timely and quality delivery of assigned IT audits in line with the annual audit plan, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up of management action points. Development and rollout of AI-based continuous control monitoring scripts and dashboards that automate routine control testing, reduce manual effort, and provide management with timely assurance over key IT and business controls.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Associate IT & Cyber Security Audits?

·       Experience and Educational requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cyber Security or a related discipline. Fresh graduates as well as candidates with up to two years of relevant experience in IT audit, internal audit, IT risk, or software development are encouraged to apply. Progress toward, or interest in pursuing, certifications such as CISA, CIA, or equivalent will be considered a plus.

·       Soft skills and technical skills required

Technical skills: Foundational understanding of IT audit concepts, IT general controls, and risk & control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST); familiarity with development & SQL; awareness of AI/ML concepts and practical exposure to using AI tools, libraries, or large language models to automate analysis or build prototypes. Exposure to cloud platforms, audit analytics tools, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Soft skills: strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a collaborative, learning-oriented attitude with a strong sense of professional integrity.
