About the Role

Cottage Dental is seeking a a friendly, patient-focused Pediatric Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a hygienist who enjoys working with children and families while creating a positive, educational, and supportive patient experience.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, energetic, team-oriented, and comfortable helping children feel safe and confident during their dental visits.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, sealants, and periodontal maintenance as appropriate
• Take diagnostic radiographs
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventative care
• Help create a calm and positive experience for pediatric patients
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to support efficient patient flow

Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license

• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Comfortable working with children and families
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred
• Laser certification preferred, but not required
