Dental Surgery Scheduling Coordinator
Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Compensation: $20–$26 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time (Monday – Friday 7:30 am till 5:00 pm)

About the Role
United Dental Corporation is seeking a Dental Surgery Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Stockbridge, Georgia.
This role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of surgical scheduling and ensuring a seamless patient experience from consultation through post-operative care. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty environment.
This position serves as a key liaison between patients, providers, and clinical staff while supporting efficient schedule management and treatment acceptance.
What Your Day Looks Like
- Coordinating surgical consultations, treatment appointments, and follow-up care
- Managing provider schedules to maximize efficiency and patient access
- Communicating with patients regarding treatment plans and appointment preparation
- Collaborating with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and front office team members
- Verifying insurance benefits and obtaining required authorizations
- Supporting patient case acceptance and scheduling completion
- Maintaining accurate patient records and appointment documentation
- Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the patient journey
What You'll Do
- Review and manage provider schedules to optimize operatory utilization and patient flow
- Coordinate all aspects of dental surgery scheduling, including consultations, pre-operative, surgical, and post-operative appointments
- Communicate pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients
- Monitor schedules to minimize cancellations, downtime, and scheduling conflicts
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations for treatment
- Maintain accurate patient information within practice management systems
- Respond to patient inquiries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient office operations
- Follow established office protocols and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Experience in a periodontal, oral surgery, implant, or specialty dental practice
- Experience coordinating surgical procedures
- Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements
- Experience obtaining insurance authorizations
- Knowledge of dental terminology and specialty procedures
