We’re hiring a Level 1/1.5 IT Support Technician for a 6-month onsite contract to provide front-line technical support across the organization. Working closely with the IT team, you'll troubleshoot day-to-day technology issues, support employee onboarding and equipment setup, and help deliver a seamless user experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

📍 Work Type
- Location: Toronto, ON (Fully On-site – 5 days a week in office)
- Contract Length: 6-month contract
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM, with on-call support on rotation

Requirements
🎯 What You’ll Do (Your Superpowers)
- Provide first-line IT support for employees across the organization, serving as the primary point of contact for day-to-day technical issues
- Deliver onsite desktop support in a fast-paced office environment, including troubleshooting laptops, monitors, printers, mobile devices, meeting room technology, and peripheral equipment
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including workstation setup, user account provisioning, software installation, and device configuration
- Troubleshoot and support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related collaboration tools
- Provide assistance with user access requests, account administration, and basic Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID tasks
- Support audio-visual and Microsoft Teams meeting room technology, ensuring conference rooms are operational and ready for use
- Assist users with common application issues across Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, and other business applications
- Document issues, resolutions, procedures, and configurations to maintain accurate IT knowledge and support records
- Escalate complex technical issues to Level 2 and Level 3 IT resources when required
- Support remote users and acquired business locations through remote troubleshooting and coordination with local site contacts
- Leverage available resources, documentation, AI tools, and research to independently investigate and resolve technical issues
- Deliver exceptional customer service while building positive relationships with employees across all departments
- Contribute wherever needed within a small, collaborative IT team, taking ownership of tasks and supporting business priorities
⭐ What We’re Looking For (Our Wishlist)
- 1–3 years of IT support experience in a helpdesk, desktop support, technical support, or onsite support environment
- Hands-on experience supporting:
- Windows 10/11 workstations
- Microsoft 365 applications and services
- Microsoft Teams and collaboration tools
- Basic Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID administration
- Mobile devices (iPhone and Android)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose common hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A positive, service-oriented attitude with a genuine desire to help others
- Resourceful and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to research and work independently
- Comfortable working in a professional, high-performance office environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when documenting work and managing multiple priorities
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and develop technical skills under the mentorship of senior IT professionals
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Exposure to SharePoint or Microsoft Teams administration
- Basic PowerShell scripting or automation knowledge
- Experience supporting onboarding/offboarding activities and user account administration
- Relevant IT certifications are considered an asset (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, or equivalent)
