This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who combines strong security fundamentals with practical infrastructure knowledge and enjoys working across vulnerability management, monitoring, patching, security operations, and compliance initiatives.Â

Requirements
đŻ What Youâll Do (Your Superpowers)Â
- Monitor and maintain security infrastructure, endpoint protection, alerts, and access controls Â
- Identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and support remediation efforts across the environment Â
- Monitor security logs, investigate alerts, and support ongoing security operations Â
- Ensure systems, patches, updates, and security controls remain current and properly maintained Â
- Support cybersecurity policies, operational procedures, and compliance initiatives Â
- Assist with SOC 2 Type II readiness, monitoring, and security governance activities Â
- Support Windows and Linux environments from a security and infrastructure perspective Â
- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure and Compliance teams to strengthen security posture and operational maturity Â
- Investigate emerging vulnerabilities and proactively improve internal security practicesÂ

â What Weâre Looking For (Our Wishlist)Â
- 4+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure environmentsÂ
- Strong hands-on experience supporting Windows Server and Linux environmentsÂ
- Experience working with endpoint protection and security tools such as Microsoft DefenderÂ
- Understanding of identity and access management concepts, including tools such as JumpCloud and SSO environmentsÂ
- Experience monitoring vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and supporting remediation efforts across infrastructure environmentsÂ
- Familiarity with patch management, security monitoring, and maintaining secure system configurationsÂ
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices across different operating systems and infrastructure environmentsÂ
- Experience supporting or working with technologies such as MySQL within production environmentsÂ
- Ability to proactively identify risks, investigate vulnerabilities, and recommend practical mitigation strategiesÂ
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of initiativesÂ
Nice to Have:Â
- Experience supporting Azure-based infrastructure, including identity, access management, and cloud security best practices Â
- Experience supporting cybersecurity compliance initiatives, security controls, and audit readiness within regulated or compliance-driven environments (SOC 2 Type II exposure considered a strong asset)Â Â
- Experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including user management, access controls, and security configurations Â
- Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, or similarÂ
