Optimal, on behalf of a well-established asset and investment management group, is seeking a Hospitality Commercial Manager for its hospitality portfolio, based in Athens.

Scope of Role

The Hospitality Commercial Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and overall commercial performance across the company’s hospitality portfolio by overseeing Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Distribution as a unified commercial ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the overall commercial and revenue strategy across the hospitality portfolio, aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead pricing, yield management, forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring against financial targets.
  • Develop and implement B2C and B2B sales strategies, managing relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, concierge services, and international partners, including contract negotiations.
  • Oversee marketing strategy, brand positioning, and distribution channels (digital & offline, Direct, OTAs, B2B), ensuring alignment with revenue objectives and cost efficiency.
  • Supervise reservations and conversion management, defining policies, SLAs, upselling logic, and optimizing inquiry-to-booking performance.
  • Monitor market trends, demand patterns, customer segmentation, and competitor activity to identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations and Management to ensure service quality, commercial readiness, and a seamless guest experience.
  • Prepare commercial reports, dashboards, and insights for senior management, supporting decision-making and performance reviews.
  • Support pre-opening and go-to-market activities for new hospitality projects.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior commercial role within Hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of the Luxury Hospitality market, with exposure to international inbound tourism (USA & Europe).
  • Proven experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, and commercial negotiations.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, distribution platforms, OTAs, and performance campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with hospitality PMS and ERP systems.
  • Ability to effectively leverage AI and data-driven tools for commercial decision-making.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with a natural hospitality mindset.
