Associate Lawyer - Banking, Finance & Financial Regulation

Main responsibilities

You will be involved in a broad range of high-value and cross-border matters, including:

• Advising on banking and finance transactions
• Supporting transactional due diligence processes and risk analysis
• Advising on financial services regulatory matters, including EU regulatory frameworks and market developments
• Engaging in ESG and sustainable finance-related mandates
• Driving the execution of transactions and managing workstreams with increasing client exposure

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in Greece with 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience
• Solid experience in banking & finance transactions
• Exposure to financial services regulation, ideally at EU level (knowledge of UK frameworks is an advantage)
• Strong drafting skills in Greek and English
• Experience in a top-tier law firm or international environment will be favorably considered
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
• Strong analytical skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail
• A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in developing within a high-performing team
