Status: Part-Time

Rate: $4.5 - 5/hour

Blessinger Legal PLLC is a boutique immigration firm in the Washington, DC metropolitan area dedicated to helping clients navigate the complex immigration process. The attorneys at Blessinger Legal PLLC work diligently to ensure that every client receives top-notch representation in all aspects of their immigration case. Blessinger Legal PLLC represents clients in matters before the Immigration Court, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the federal district courts, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Position Summary: 
You will work directly with the Firm partner. Assigned tasks may vary daily but will be provided to you at the beginning of each week. We are looking for someone who is motivated and who can work on his or her own without the need for micromanaging. 

Requirements

General Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Follow up with support staff to ensure deadlines are met 
• Provide daily reports regarding deadlines 
• Research and provide findings regarding requests from managers 
• Personal assistant tasks 
• Other tasks as assigned

Competencies Required: 
• Fluent in the English language 
• High School diploma 
• At least two years' experience as an administrative assistant or in a managerial role 
 
Training Provided: 
• We offer a training schedule for new employees, including pre-recorded and live legal training sessions on the firm’s practice areas and office procedures. There is a stipend provided once the training period is over.
