We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our senior living community team. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents through preventative maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of the property.

The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-service oriented, and experienced in general building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and basic carpentry.

### Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and handyman duties

Maintain the interior and exterior of the building in a neat, clean, and safe condition.

Complete drywall repair, patching, and painting as needed.

Understand the operation and function of appliances, office equipment, maintenance equipment, and grounds equipment, including performing minor repairs.

Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.

Protect and maintain the building and grounds during inclement weather

Ensure safe and proper storage of all supplies, chemicals, tools, and equipment.

available for on-call responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Director of Maintenance or Executive Director.

### Qualifications

Previous maintenance experience preferred, ideally in senior living, residential, or commercial properties.

Strong handyman and troubleshooting skills across multiple trades.

Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Must be reliable, professional, and responsive to emergency situations.

Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance duties.

### Shift:

Full time, Weekend coverage required once per month
