The Central Planning Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing Debenhams supply chain operations by analysing

data, identifying trends, and providing insights that drive informed decision-making.

The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce

costs.

Responsibilities

· Support in producing forecasts for Sheffield, weekly

· Support in producing forecasts all carriers, monthly

· Regular review of forward forecasts and highlight opportunity areas to stakeholders

· Utilise analytics tools to analyse data, to understand past trends and apply to forward forecasts.

· Produce monthly delivery compliance re-charge and tolerance reporting

· Work with delivery compliance team to produce weekly reports highlighting problem suppliers/brands

· Collaborate with carrier team, planning, and operations teams to align supply chain strategies and

enhance overall operational efficiency.

· Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports to provide insights to stakeholders.

· Assist in the design and implementation of initiatives to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes by proposing innovative solutions and best practices.

· Work closely with IT teams to enhance data management systems, ensure data accuracy, and automate reporting processes.

Requirements

· Experience in supply chain analysis or related roles, preferably within the fashion or retail industry.

· Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

· Familiarity with supply chain concepts, forecasting, inventory management, and logistics.

· Excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

· Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
