We are currently looking for a Key Account Manager, who will be responsible for the day-to-day direct sales activities, with regards to the acquisition, management and communication of Large Corporate and Business Customers in the Medium and Low Voltage markets, in accordance with guidelines provided by the Large Accounts Sales Manager and Company standards, policies and procedures. 

What will you do:

  • Implements sales strategy through direct channels for the Large Corporate and Business Customers segments with the exception of specific large customer accounts managed directly by the Large Accounts Sales Manager. 
  • Pursues and achieves Direct Sales targets, optimizing the allocation of assigned resources. 
  • Participates with all necessary inputs in the company’s budget formulation, especially with regard to fixed costs, for the Direct Sales Function. 
  • Develops plans for key direct sales prospects segment and identifies new sales opportunities within existing accounts. 
  • Monitors sales statistics and reports on status of pending contracts. 
  • Develops and deploys plans to increase Direct Sales’ performance. 
  • Directly reports to the Large Accounts Sales Manager on the Direct Sales’ performance via regular and ad-hoc reporting. 
  • Responsible for the preparation of full documentation material during customer acquisition (from sales to final contract signing) through direct sales channels. 
  • Responsible for proactive contract management, including the provision of follow-ups on all contracts (e.g. monitoring of expiry dates concerning contracts). 
  • Responsible for market monitoring concerning relevant competitive products and services. 
  • Responsible for planning and managing the full relationship between the company and key customers, taking into considerations company sales strategy and targets, as well as the customers’ specific characteristics. 

What you need to be successful:

  • A BSc in Business Studies, Economics, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or relevant discipline,
  • A MSc will be considered an asset,
  • 4-6 years of working experience in Commercial and Utilities Sector,
  • Advanced level in MS Office,
  • Advanced experience in English (written and spoken),
  • Good overall understanding of the energy industry, trends and products,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals,
  • Leadership & people management skills
