Reach and Counterbalance Driver - Stevenage

Newstaff Employment Services is currently seeking a skilled Reach and Counterbalance Driver to join our team in Stevenage. In this role, you will be responsible for operating both reach and counterbalance forklifts to efficiently and safely handle stock within the warehouse environment. You will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations by ensuring timely movement, stacking, and loading of goods, while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Operate reach and counterbalance forklifts to move, stack, and load goods safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily safety checks on equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory as required.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety policies and procedures within the warehouse.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet warehouse operational targets.

Requirements

• Valid Reach and Counterbalance Forklift licenses.
• Proven experience operating reach and counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse setting.
• Strong understanding of forklift safety and warehouse health and safety regulations.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to meet shift requirements.
