About the Team

Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to work as Intern (m/f/d) Launch Systems Engineering. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply for us.

Your Tasks

Contribute to the development of launch systems from concept to manufacturing (end-to-end)
Work with the Launch team to set and define requirements for various work packages across different projects
Clearly document work packages and requirements, according to company standards
Design and analysis of major sub-systems of the launch site and vehicle interfaces (i.e. mechanical, fluidic, electrical systems)
Integration, troubleshooting and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems (from the office and potentially on site)
Conduct hands-on testing, gather data, and analyze results

Your Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Aerospace, Mechanical, Fluid Processes, Civil Engineering, or a related field for the duration of the internship
Demonstrated experience working with complex multidisciplinary projects (i.e. in student rocketry or automotive teams)
Able to identify the big picture and the different levels of complexity of the launch site systems
Capable of working independently, while prioritizing various tasks
Experience with CAD (preferably Siemens NX), P&IDs, or programming skills (Excel VBA, Python, Matlab) are a plus
Fluent in written and spoken English
Hands-on experience with tools and equipment in a lab or manufacturing setting
