Junior Buyer
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the procurement team in sourcing mechanical and electrical materials and services.
- Obtain and compare quotes from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and update supplier databases.
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams to understand purchasing requirements.
- Support the negotiation process with suppliers under supervision.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up on outstanding orders.
Requirements
- Some experience or interest in procurement, preferably within the mechanical and electrical (M&E) industry.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Basic knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn and develop procurement skills.
