Junior Buyer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the procurement team in sourcing mechanical and electrical materials and services.
• Obtain and compare quotes from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and update supplier databases.
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to understand purchasing requirements.
• Support the negotiation process with suppliers under supervision.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up on outstanding orders.

Requirements

• Some experience or interest in procurement, preferably within the mechanical and electrical (M&E) industry.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Basic knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn and develop procurement skills.
