Belmont Lavan Ltd is seeking a skilled Business Analyst for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, document processes, and support project delivery to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop detailed business requirement documents, user stories, and process flows.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure requirements are understood and effectively implemented.
- Assist in testing activities, validating solutions against requirements.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with various business units.
- Support change management and communication activities related to projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a contract or consultancy role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and facilitating workshops.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Required skills
Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and participating in sprint planning/reviews
Experience managing multiple stakeholder groups and facilitating requirement consensus
3+ years financial services experience (accounts/payments)
Ability to decompose complex business problems
Experience conveying and refining business requirements with IT development teams
Design practical solutions within technical constraints
3+ years documented BA experience
Preferred skills
Ability to create clear, maintainable requirements documentation
Experience managing competing stakeholder priorities within regulatory timelines
Ability to balance scope and timelines across business and technical constraints
