POSITION SUMMARY
Leads Onboard Salas Representatives and Pre-Sales Retail Representatives to achieve and maximize sales margin objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Negotiate directly with customers and assist the team in negotiating existing accounts and generating new business.
- Gather and analyze sales information such as sales, pricing, product mix per customer, spoilage, margins, and inventory versus sales; plan and execute sales plans for maximum performance.
- Interview, hire, and train Onboard and Pre‑Sales Retail Representatives.
- Review sales performance, set individual goals for representatives, and provide sales and customer service guidance.
- Train representatives on company procedures, including sales processes and safety procedures (DOT); perform internal audits regarding procedural compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of routes and customers; ensure accounts receive the highest level of service, including personally servicing accounts when needed; troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of driving/route sales supervision experience
License/Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license for state of residence and vehicle insurance as required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One (1) year leadership experience
- Route sales supervision experience in the food products industry
- Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Experience with SAP, SOL, BW Analyzer, and High Jump
- Knowledge of basic DOT regulations (straight trucks)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA’s)
- Fluent in Spanish with intermediate English proficiency (DOT requirement)
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Effective interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and phone communication skills
- Ability to motivate a team
ENVIRONMENTAL / WORKING CONDITIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit and drive for at least 8 hours
- Ability to stand for at least 4 hours
- Ability to twist, kneel, stoop, stand, bend, push, pull, and move 30‑pound items repeatedly
- Ability to move 75‑pound loads on a cart or hand‑truck without assistance
- Ability to climb in/out of vehicles
- Ability to lift and move 30‑pound boxes/buckets repeatedly
- Ability to work in a cold environment (approx. 34°F) for long periods
- Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight stays up to 5 days
