POSITION SUMMARY
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of workers engaged in materials movement, handling, receiving, loading, unloading, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining stock in the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Enforces operational procedures for activities including but not limited to verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
- Schedule warehouse personnel(s) to ensure proper manning; direct the day-to day activities of the warehouse including but not limited to shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
- Inspect physical condition of warehouse and equipment, prepares work order for repairs, and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
- Reviews work processes, recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product or service, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency; keeps accurate records, and prepares and submits required paperwork.
- Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to the production processes, procedures and services; mentors and trains team memebers; handle general employee inquiries and solves problems.
- Ensure completion and accurate reporting on warehouse activities and productivity including but not limited to, timesheets, yields, pounds per man-hour, and reduction of downtime.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma, GED or equivalent
- One (1) year warehouse experience
- One (1) year leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years warehouse experience
- Two (2) years leadership experience
- Bilingual
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITITES (KSA’s)
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently and within a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shifts
- Ability to work in temperature conditions between 35 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers in a repetitive motion. Frequently required to stand, walk and reach above the head. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift a minimum of ten (10) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud factory / warehouse levels.
