This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic HR team in Greece. As an HR Officer, you will support core HR operations, employee engagement, and internal communication while ensuring smooth HR processes. You will play a key role in enhancing the employee experience and supporting local and CEE HR initiatives in a fast-paced, international environment.

This position is permanent, full-time employment and is expected to work hybrid (3 days per week) from our Athens Office in Nea Filadelfia.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee administration
  • Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, amendments, and certificates
  • Contribute to payroll preparation by collecting and validating monthly HR data (leave, absences, changes)
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor attendance, leave balances, and absence tracking tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive employee engagement, CSR, and internal communication initiatives
  • Support office management activities, including workplace environment and internal visibility
  • Assist in HR reporting (headcount, KPIs, turnover) and ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Promote employer branding and support local events and initiatives 

Requirements

About You

  • Experience: Initial experience in HR operations or administration within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Skills: Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Languages: Fluent in Greek and English

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HRIS and/or payroll systems
  • Knowledge of Greek labor legislation and ERGANI system
  • Payroll exposure
  • Strong digital mindset, including familiarity with AI tools
