About PIC
At PIC we're not just building data centers; we're reimagining how AI infrastructure gets developed, financed, and scaled by combining hyperscale-grade facilities with direct access to energy, land, and fiber at a scope that simply doesn't exist anywhere else. Backed by a best-in-class supply chain, world-class partners, and advanced partnerships with major hyperscale customers, PIC is poised to become a multi-billion dollar platform with ambitions to layer cloud, compute, and advanced manufacturing on top of our energy foundation.
If you want to work at the intersection of AI, energy, and infrastructure at a scale that will shape the next decade of compute, join our team.
About the role
Building a mission-critical AI data center takes thousands of pieces of equipment — switchgear, transformers, generators, cooling units, controls — all arriving on a precise schedule, in perfect condition, with paperwork that holds up years later. The OFCI Coordinator is the person making sure that happens. You'll own our Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) program end-to-end: tracking every asset from contract signing through commissioning, coordinating delivery windows with vendors, and standing in for Poolside during equipment hand-off so nothing arrives bent, late, or undocumented.
This is equal parts logistics and project management. You'll work directly with procurement, construction, commissioning, and our General Contractor — the connective tissue that keeps schedules honest and equipment ready when the data hall is ready for it. If you're someone who loves a clean tracker, can read a one-line diagram without flinching, and gets satisfaction from heading off a problem six weeks before it would have hit the schedule, you'll fit right in here.
What you’ll do
Own the OFCI asset database; a real-time, single source of truth tracking every piece of equipment from contract issuance through commissioning completion
Manage the project schedule for OFCI scope, integrating Required On Job (ROJ) dates across procurement, integration, and construction milestones.
Serve as the primary point of contact for OFCI vendors post-contract; managing delivery windows, specialized transport requirements, storage needs, and commissioning support
Represent PIC during equipment hand-off: inspect OFCI gear on arrival alongside the General Contractor to confirm it's undamaged and matches the technical submittals.
Partner with procurement to identify lead-time risks early and build contingency plans before they become construction delays
Coordinate with the GC to manage all OFCI documentation including BOLs, warranties, O&M manuals, test reports, commissioning records; so nothing is lost between delivery and turnover
Run regular status reviews with the construction, procurement, and commissioning teams to keep OFCI scope visible and aligned with the broader project plan
Walk the site, walk the warehouses, and walk the schedule; you'll be the person who actually knows where every piece of equipment is and what's coming next
About you
2+ years of experience in construction logistics, supply chain management, or project management on large-scale construction or industrial projects
Comfortable reading technical documents, floor plans, and MEP drawings/specifications/submittals; enough to confirm equipment is handled, stored, and installed in a way that protects the warranty
Strong project management instincts; you can hold a schedule, run a tracker, and herd a dozen vendors without losing your sense of humor.
Sharp communicator and natural problem-solver; you raise issues early, propose options, and keep the right people in the loop
Detail-obsessed when it counts: BOLs, serial numbers, submittal revisions; you treat paperwork as part of the build
Nice-to-haves
Prior data center OFCI experience; bonus points if you've coordinated medium-voltage gear, generators, or cooling equipment
Familiarity with commissioning processes (Cx, IST, Level 1-5) and how OFCI hand-off fits into the broader turnover plan
Experience with construction management or asset-tracking tools like Procore, Smartsheets, Primavera P6, or similar
Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and industry standards relevant to mission-critical equipment
PMP, CSCP, or similar project management/supply chain certification
Additional requirements
Regular travel to Fort Stockton, TX; expect meaningful time on-site during major delivery and commissioning windows
Comfortable working in active construction environments, including data halls, MEP rooms, and outdoor utility yards
Occasional extended hours or weekend coverage during high-volume delivery weeks and commissioning ramp
