At the core of HR operations in Europe, this role ensures the accurate, compliant, and timely execution of HR and payroll activities across multiple countries, with a focus on the Netherlands and Italy.

You act as a key operational partner, supporting the full employee lifecycle while serving as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Benefits

  • Manage end-to-end multi-country payroll processes in collaboration with external providers
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of salaries, social contributions, and legal obligations
  • Administer employee benefits programs (insurance, pension, mobility, etc.)
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies

HR Administration & Contracts

  • Draft and manage employment contracts, amendments, and offboarding documentation
  • Advise managers and employees on labor law (Netherlands & Italy) and HR policies
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes (including visas/work permits where required)
  • Maintain compliant and audit-ready employee documentation

HR Operations & Absence Management

  • Manage sickness and absence processes in line with local regulations
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date HR data in HR systems
  • Process payroll-impacting changes and employee lifecycle updates

Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Act as the main point of contact for HR and payroll queries
  • Produce regular HR and payroll reports
  • Contribute to process improvement, standardization, and automation

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations (payroll, administration, contracts)
  • Experience in an international or multicultural environment
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch and/or Italian labor law and payroll practices
  • Fluent English + Dutch or Italian required
  • Solid experience with HRIS and payroll tools (e.g., Workday, CloudPay)
  • Advanced Excel skills

Detail-oriented, structured, hands-on, autonomous, and service-driven with strong communication skills.
