At Nomagic, we’re on a mission to teach robots the real world. We operate on a Robot as a Service business model, and our installed robot base is growing rapidly to hundreds of deployed across Europe and US. We are now looking for an experienced Service Manager to create and manage a robust, outsourced service and maintenance system for our growing fleet.

You will be responsible for the entire service lifecycle, from establishing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with external suppliers to ensuring our robots consistently meet high uptime targets for our customers. You will work closely with Engineering (Hardware and Software), Customer Success, and Project Management teams.

We expect a highly proactive, data-driven approach, experience in defining and managing external service contracts, and a great attitude towards collaboration across the company and with external partners.

  • ### Some of problems you may try to solve with us :
    This role is focused on establishing operational excellence through external partnerships:
  • Service System Creation: Design and implement a comprehensive, outsourced service and maintenance system to support a rapidly growing robot fleet.
  • Partner Management: Hand in hand with Procurement team identify, onboard, and manage external service providers across various European locations. Define clear scope, SLAs/KPIs, and cost structures.
  • Operational Excellence: Define and monitor key service metrics (e.g., MTTR, First Time Fix Rate, Uptime) and drive continuous improvement with service partners using a data-driven approach.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Manage the service and maintenance budget, negotiating favorable contracts and driving cost efficiency.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Seamlessly interface with Engineering (Hardware/Software), Customer Success, and Project Management teams.
  • ### Skills we’d like you to have:
  • Hands on approach: 5+ years of technical experience in PLC and HMI programming using Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC Unified. Experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT is a plus. Hands-on experience with EPLAN. Knowledge of automation components - market solutions and current tech trends from leading suppliers (sensors, actuators, controllers, ..), and communication protocols. 
  • Service Experience: additional 5+ years on top of technical experience in technical service management, field service engineering, or a similar role in industrial automation, intralogistics, or robotics.
  • Outsourcing: Proven track record in developing and managing an outsourced technical service or maintenance operation for complex hardware.
  • Contracts: Expertise in defining, negotiating, and managing third-party contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, spare parts logistics, and managing a multi-site installed hardware base.
  • Attitude: Highly energetic, hands-on, and results-oriented.
    Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (peak) for partner auditing, training, and complex issue resolution.
    Excellent communication skills in English.
