Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and protection of company employees, visitors, and property at all times.
- Secure premises by patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance systems, inspecting buildings and equipment, and controlling access points.
- Respond to emergencies and obtain assistance by sounding alarms or contacting authorities when necessary.
- Prevent losses and property damage by identifying and reporting irregularities, enforcing company policies, and managing trespassers or violators.
- Direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic to maintain safe and efficient site operations.
- Prepare detailed incident and activity reports, including observations, security logs, witness interviews, and necessary documentation.
- Maintain a safe environment by monitoring and adjusting building and equipment controls as required.
- Uphold company integrity and reputation by adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support operational efficiency by conducting preventive maintenance, following equipment protocols, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating repairs or updates.
Requirements
- Valid Class D Security Officer License (required)
- Valid Florida Driver’s License (required)
- Reliable personal transportation (required)
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Smartphone required for communication and reporting purposes (required)
- Willingness to work overnight shifts
- Willingness to work morning shifts
Benefits
