As a Network Engineer at DeepSource Technologies, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure solutions to support organizational goals. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across the enterprise network.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN equipment.
- Implement and manage network protocols, routing, and switching technologies to optimize network performance and reliability.
- Monitor network performance and security to identify and resolve issues proactively to maintain high availability.
- Participate in network capacity planning and traffic engineering activities to meet future growth demands.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security policies and best practices.
- Document network configurations, policies, and procedures to facilitate efficient operations and maintenance.
- Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and integration with cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Provide technical support and training to junior network staff and other IT teams as required.
Requirements
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Possess a valid CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and MPLS.
- Experience with Cisco network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience in configuring VPNs, NAT, QoS, and network security controls.
- Good understanding of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with network automation and scripting is a plus.
