The Role and Responsibilities

An exciting new permanent opportunity has arisen within our Lifting Solutions business line for a Crane Operator Mechanic. The role will be to work on a 2/3 rotation based in the UK - North Sea. The role will involve working on an FPSO.

You will be tasked with carrying out first line maintenance and ensuring Crane integrity is maintained in accordance with client's maintenance strategy. Other main duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Responsibility for all crane-operation scopes on the platform (boat and platform lifts)
  • Keeping up with planned maintenance routines
  • Carrying our corrective work scopes
  • Troubleshooting breakdowns and formulating solutions
  • Keeping reports/databases up to date

 

The Requirements

To be successful for the position it is essential you hold a Stage III Offshore Crane Operator Certificate and subsequent Stage III assessments. You will also hold a recognised apprenticeship or maintenance / mechanical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). Previous Offshore experience and valid offshore certificates are essential.
