Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end freight operations including planning, scheduling, and execution of shipments.
Oversee team members responsible for freight booking, carrier management, and shipment tracking.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and internal policies.
Monitor operational KPIs and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Coordinate with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to meet customer expectations.
Build and maintain positive relationships with carriers, vendors, and partners.
Handle problem resolution and escalate issues as necessary.
Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in freight operations or logistics management.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing operational teams.
Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, transportation modes (LTL, FTL, intermodal, expedited).
Familiarity with TMS software and freight tracking tools.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred but not required.
