Position Overview:

The company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Freight Sales professional with expertise in both international and domestic freight services. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of global supply chain logistics and the ability to provide tailored freight solutions to meet the needs of a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities in both international and domestic freight sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, freight brokers, and logistics partners.
Customize freight forwarding and transportation solutions including air, ocean, and ground shipments based on client needs.
Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals and post-sale support.
Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends, trade regulations, and competitor activity to advise clients effectively.
Utilize CRM systems to maintain accurate sales records and generate reports.

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in freight sales, including international and domestic freight forwarding or logistics.
Strong knowledge of transportation modes, trade compliance, Incoterms, and freight documentation.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

Existing client portfolio or book of business in freight forwarding or trucking sectors.
Multilingual abilities to serve diverse international clients.
Experience with specific industries such as manufacturing, automotive, retail, or pharmaceuticals.
