At Kubota Australia and New Zealand we distribute exceptional quality agriculture, construction and power equipment and products and provide after sales service.  We wholesale to a large independent dealer network to ultimately serve Kubota customers.

This role is a full scope procurement planning position, encompassing both demand and supply. You will be responsible in forecasting, planning a broad range of operational activity in respect to demand and supply/ procurement for the wholegoods Supply Chain across Australian and New Zealand jurisdictions.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Undertake demand forecasting and planning, recommending and/or effecting adjustments (with stakeholders input as required)
  • With instruction or direction, contribute to the planning, allocation and distribution of whole-goods stock
  • Undertake a broad range of activity to ensure and maintain reliable data input and reporting output for material requirements planning (MRP), including but not limited to arranging intercompany stock transfer orders (STOs)
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, analyse and report/ present findings and effect remediation (with stakeholder input or approval as required)
  • Develop communication and liaise with suppliers, including such as to provide schedules, track deliveries and expedite orders
  • Coordinate end-to-end purchasing from local and international suppliers
  • Undertake a range of administrative and processing tasks to facilitate domestic and international shipping, such as, but not limited to; Sea and Air freight shipping coordination (import and export), scheduling, container planning, document checking, liaison with freight forwarders, inventory coordination, and quarantine and quality issues resolution
  • Monitor for inventory shortfalls and develop solutions for identified issues, escalating as appropriate
  • Perform scheduled and ad hoc inventory reconciliation activity, investigate and remediate/resolve discrepancies (with approval as required) and ensure correct documentation accompanies or is processed for all transactions
  • Undertake a range of general administration, including but not limited to; vendor invoice processing, document/ records management, master data maintenance and data integrity activity
  • Identify and recommend for approval process improvements and sustainability initiatives within the supply chain function
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and undertake a range of duties within the limits of skill and capability (as required and directed)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, your resume would include:

  • Tertiary qualification - Supply Chain/ Logistics (preferred) or significant commensurate work experience
  • Experience in a similar position undertaking planning and inventory management for a complex product-based supply chain across Australian and New Zealand jurisdictions. 
  • Global product movement experience (desired) 
  • Experience with agricultural/ construction/ industrial equipment whole goods product supply chains (preferred)
  • Significant experience undertaking reconciliation and performing data analysis
  • Well developed general administration skill and exposure to invoice processing
  • Well developed relationship management, customer centricity and interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed communication skills with a focus on exceptional forecasting, report writing and presentation of data for decision making
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to identify issues, trouble-shoot or develop appropriate solutions and tactics
  • Attention to detail
  • Organisational skill and methodical approach to work task delivery
  • Intermediate general computing skills, including Google/ MS Office suite/ similar.
  • Experience updating records and processing within ERP/MRP systems
  • Applied experience using SAP Inventory Management and Procurement (Procure to Pay & Order to Cash) modules (strongly desired)
  • Proven ability to work autonomously to deadlines and within a team environment
