As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in accelerating Excelya’s commercial growth across Europe. This is a full‑cycle sales position, where you will lead deals from first contact to signature, working closely with internal experts to build tailored, high‑impact solutions. If you enjoy complex sales, strategic discussions with senior decision‑makers, and contributing directly to business expansion in the life sciences market, this role is designed for you.

You will take ownership of your pipeline and act as a key commercial driver, with responsibilities including:

  • Driving targeted prospecting across mid‑size pharma, selected large and small pharma, and biotech accounts
  • Engaging C‑level and senior decision‑makers across Excelya’s centers of excellence
  • Leading qualification meetings and managing opportunities throughout the full sales cycle
  • Advancing deals toward RFI and RFP stages, ensuring momentum and deal quality
  • Coordinating RFI / RFP responses in close collaboration with the RFP Manager and internal stakeholders
  • Preparing and delivering sales presentations and orals
  • Leading commercial negotiations and contracting until deal closure
  • Ensuring a smooth handover to Customer Success and Operations teams for delivery excellence

Requirements

You are a results‑driven sales professional who thrives in complex environments. You bring:

  • Experience in selling solutions or services in CRO, Life Sciences, or complex B2B environments
  • Proven exposure to RFI / RFP processes, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles, and deal closing
  • Strong negotiation skills and confidence engaging senior‑level decision‑makers
  • A data‑driven mindset, with the ability to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and track performance
  • A proactive, autonomous, and collaborative approach, with a strong appetite for growth and impact
