Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior OpenShift / Linux Engineer to manage, deploy, and optimize containerized environments using Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong Linux administration skills and hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and highly available container platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
- Administer and maintain Linux-based systems (RHEL/CentOS)
- Design and support containerized applications and microservices architectures
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (via OpenShift) including scaling, upgrades, and monitoring
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices
- Troubleshoot platform, container, and infrastructure issues
- Ensure system security, patching, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for application deployment
- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration and container platforms
- Hands-on experience with:
- Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
- Kubernetes and Docker/containers
- Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
Strong understanding of:
- Container orchestration
- Networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, ingress)
- Storage in container environments
- Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
