About Mecka AI

Mecka AI is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI.

We design and operate global systems for data capture, data labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows used by leading AI labs and robotics companies. Our datasets power models that learn from the physical world — enabling robots to understand, reason, and act in real environments.

We operate across multiple geographies and are scaling quickly — building a global team spanning operations, engineering, and research.

The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Global HR — Hiring & Performance to own how we hire, evaluate, and drive performance across our global teams.

This role is responsible for scaling international hiring pipelines, managing team performance across regions, and building clear incentive structures tied to output and quality.

You will work across multiple hubs to ensure we are hiring the right people, setting clear expectations, and consistently driving high performance.

Responsibilities

Global Hiring & Talent Pipeline

  • Own hiring across international teams and hubs (operations, labeling, field, etc.)

  • Build and scale recruiting pipelines across regions (NA, LATAM, SEA, etc.)

  • Partner with local leads to ensure consistent hiring quality and standards

  • Design and improve interview processes, assessments, and selection criteria

  • Manage recruiting partners, agencies, and internal hiring workflows

Performance Management

  • Own performance management systems across global teams

  • Define clear KPIs, output metrics, and quality benchmarks by role

  • Implement processes for tracking, reviewing, and improving performance

  • Work with managers to identify top performers and address underperformance

  • Drive consistent performance standards across all regions and teams

Incentives & Compensation Structures

  • Design and manage incentive structures tied to output, quality, and reliability

  • Align compensation with performance and operational goals

  • Build frameworks for bonuses, variable pay, and performance-based rewards

  • Continuously optimize incentives to drive throughput and quality improvements

Global Team Operations

  • Work closely with regional leads to ensure teams are staffed, trained, and performing

  • Monitor performance across hubs and identify gaps or inefficiencies

  • Support scaling of new geographies and operational expansion

  • Ensure consistency in how teams are managed and evaluated globally

Systems & Reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards for hiring, performance, and retention metrics

  • Track key metrics such as throughput, quality, retention, and SLA adherence

  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on team performance and hiring progress

  • Improve systems and tooling for tracking and managing global workforce performance

Who You Are

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, People Ops, Talent, or Operations roles

  • Experience managing high-volume hiring or global recruiting pipelines

  • Experience working with distributed or international teams

  • Strong understanding of performance management and operational metrics

  • Experience building or managing incentive or performance-based compensation systems

Strong Signals

  • Experience in operations-heavy environments (BPO, marketplaces, data labeling, logistics, etc.)

  • Experience managing teams across multiple countries or regions

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using metrics to drive performance

  • Experience working closely with operations and delivery teams

  • Ability to operate in fast-scaling, high-throughput environments

You Are

  • Highly execution-focused and operationally strong

  • Comfortable managing global teams and distributed workforces

  • Strong at driving accountability and performance at scale

  • Data-driven and focused on measurable outcomes

  • Able to move quickly and solve problems in fast-moving environments

Why This Role

  • Direct ownership over global hiring and team performance

  • High impact on output, quality, and operational efficiency

  • Work closely with leadership and regional operators

  • Help scale a global workforce across multiple regions

  • Build systems that directly impact company performance
