Array Labs builds advanced radar systems to help humanity understand and respond to changes across the physical world.
We’re launching a coordinated fleet of radar satellites to create a high-resolution 3D map of the Earth – updated in real time – enabling faster, smarter decision-making for government and commercial organizations supporting disaster response, infrastructure resilience, and mission-critical geopolitical intelligence.
We design and build our satellites end-to-end, producing the world’s most advanced earth observation satellites. Our fleet will deliver unprecedented levels of accuracy, coverage, and responsiveness to power critical insights precisely where they’re needed most.
### About the RoleArray Labs is looking for a Finance Manager to help us build and run the FP&A function from the ground up. You'll be the first dedicated finance hire, responsible for establishing the infrastructure we need to scale, without creating unnecessary overhead for the team. This role sits at the intersection of financial planning, strategic analysis, and investor relations support, and reports directly to the COO.
-
Own the company financial model, including revenue forecasts, headcount planning, cash flow, and scenario analysis
-
Prepare financial materials and diligence responses in support of fundraising and investor relations
-
Build lightweight FP&A processes – reporting cadences, variance analysis, KPI tracking – optimized for low organizational burden
-
Partner with the CEO and COO on resource allocation and strategic financial decisions
-
Track actuals against forecast and surface variances with clear recommendations
-
Serve as the primary liaison to external accountants; own the financial outputs, not the accounting work
-
Manage government contract invoicing
-
5+ years in FP&A or strategic finance, including time at an early-stage startup (Series A, B, or C)
-
Experience building or inheriting a finance function with little to no existing structure
-
Able to build and own a company financial model from scratch
-
Comfortable operating without a defined playbook in a fast-moving environment
-
Strong communicator; able to translate complex financial situations and jargon for non-finance audiences
-
Experience supporting an early stage company fundraise, including preparing investor materials and financial diligence
-
Background in aerospace, defense, or deep tech
-
Exposure to government contracting revenue or cost structures
We will conduct three interviews via Zoom; the typical process takes around 3-5 weeks to complete from start to finish.
