About this role

Job Description

  1. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

            Include the following, while other duties may be assigned thereafter:

  • Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including: Filling and shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
  • While receiving material, should make sure that products are in accordance with Purchase Orders and in good condition. Any discrepancy must be reported immediately to Purchase Department.
  • Developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks.
  • Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands.
  • Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety regulations.
  • Recommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance.
  • Continuously improve warehouse operations
  • Conferring with his Manager to coordinate activities of individual departments and serving internal customers.
  • Monitor stock going to expire in coming three months and report to his Manager on monthly basis.
  • Monitor Minimum, Maximum Stock level and in case of any drop in minimum level, immediately report to his Manager
  • Arrange delivery of material to customer according to service level agreement. Any delay in any delivery must be reported immediately to concerned Sales engineer.
  • Maintain a Service log book for each Vehicle and make sure that all vehicles are maintained in a clean and working conditions
  • Maintain record of all monthly Deliveries made by each driver
  • Monitor daily attendance of his all subordinates and any if there is any absentees or sickness, must be reported to HR with a copy to his Manager
  • Maintain and make sure that all warehouse premises is clean and fully equipped with all the Safety tool and first Aid facility
  • Help in Quarterly/Yearly Stock taking
  • Maintain record of GRNs and send copies to Purchase Department
  • Maintain record of all signed Delivery Orders and Sales Invoices and send a copy to Regional Customer Service Representative.

Qualifications

  1. Qualifications & Experience (Competencies Required)
    1. Educational Credentials  
  • Bachelor degree or high diploma in Supply Chain or related field.
  1. Work Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant warehouse experience (including 1+ year of previous supervisory experience).
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
