About this role

Job Description

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Area Visual Merchandiser, you play a key role in delivering an inspiring, commercial, and consistent customer experience by implementing visual standards & commercial excellence.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Staying up to date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, products, brands, competitors, and relevant influencers etc.
  • Coaching Store and Area teams to allocate time for fashion and trend awareness helping them to understand trend theory, mood boards for fashion stories and styling techniques, enabling teams to anticipate our customer’s needs and enhance the shopping experience for each store format.
  • Empowering VM and store teams to be solution-orientated, creating efficient actions that enhance our customer´s satisfaction to help achieve sales targets, store goals and budget.  
  • Drive and follow-up implementation of the visual and commercial guidelines, regional seasonal focuses and commercial priorities through regular coaching, store visits and feedback to secure visual consistency in your Area in collaboration with the Sales Market Visual Merch Manager.
  • Ensure role clarity for all VM roles in your Area, making sure that all Area & Store Management Teams understand VM responsibilities and ways of working in close collaboration with other functions & stakeholders.

In this role, you will collaborate with multiple teams to delivering an inspiring, commercial, and consistent customer experience in all stores across your area. You will work closely with store teams, your area team and the Support Office team, providing key insights and recommendations.

  • Experience in both visual merchandising and commerciality from senior Visual roles such as VMM or Trainee AVM, with a keen eye for excellent product presentation, styling, and a strong interest in fashion.
  • Experience and knowledge of visual operational routines and best practices.
