As a VFX Artist on the Rainbow Six brand, you'll bring passion, excitement, atmosphere and explosivity to a game through the creation of stunning effects. You will deliver visually impressive moments that positively enhance the player experience. Be it smoke, fire, an explosion, falling snow, or a waterfall, every one of your effects will accent the immersive game world and often will have people wondering, “How did you do that?”

As a tech-savvy artist, you’ll combine technology and creativity to make the magic happen. You’ll be able to adapt to a variety of tools while relying on your core talent to create and integrate impactful, high-quality, real-time visual effects. You'll enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand key features and elements where the addition of visual effects will add life to the games our players know and love.

What you'll bring

At Ubisoft, we aim to be a destination of choice for the best talent. We want people like you, who will be instrumental in driving our studios to success.

  • A photo-realistic portfolio/showreel of your best work, consisting of real-time VFX elements.
  • Experience of modelling, texturing, and image processing.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop.
  • Proficient in 3D software, such as Maya or 3DS Max.
  • Understanding of basic vector math and art fundamentals (e.g. lighting, composition, colour theory).

Joining Ubisoft, you’ll be part of an inclusive global brand. With us, you will build upon your ongoing success and place your stamp on the production of our games and the development of our people. You’ll have the prestige of developing and producing exciting world-class AAA games and help showcase our studio as a market leader within our industry.

With us, you will find your future in one of the strongest knowledge bases in the games industry coupled with brilliant opportunities for career progression on a critically acclaimed brand portfolio.

  • Generous resources committed to your perpetual personal and professional development
  • Investment in our community - with paid volunteering days

  • Generous relocation support - should you need it

Positive mental health and wellbeing at work are priorities for us. We are a Gold Employer in the Mind Workplace Wellbeing Index, and partners of Safe in Our World. We run an inclusive Wellbeing Champions programme and provide a wide range of training and resources to support all of our people to proactively discuss and manage their own mental health, as well as support their team members.
