Technical Writer Jobs

Job Description

As a Technical Writer with us, you will be an important part of the Technical documentation department. You will work on developing, updating, and quality-assuring our technical documentation, as well as ensuring that it follows Konecranes Lift Trucks’ terminology and standards.

In the role, you will prioritize assigned projects and drive the work forward by gathering and structuring information from different parts of the organization. You will work cross-functionally and contribute to improving internal processes related to information flow and documentation.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Update and improve existing technical documentation
• Participate in the development of internal processes for information management
• Ensure correct and consistent terminology
• Gather and structure information from different departments
• Prioritize and make decisions within the scope of assigned projects

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is structured, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing focus.

To succeed in this role, we expect that you have:

• Excellent level of English (spoken, written, and reading comprehension)
• Strong computer skills, especially in:
  • Microsoft Office
  • Adobe Acrobat (experience with Illustrator is a plus)
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS). XML and DITA is considered an advantage
• The ability to work in a structured and methodical way
• Experience handling work during periods of high workload

You are a team player who enjoys collaborating across departments and have a natural drive to improve both ways of working and documentation.
