About this role

Job Description

THIS ROLE 

A review position responsible for validating fund accounting deliverables and ensuring quality standards. This role performs detailed reviews of financial statements and supports complex accounting processes while serving as a technical resource for preparers. The position focuses on quality assurance and maintaining accounting standards across deliverables. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • You’ll review financial statements, NAV calculations, and client deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • You’ll apply relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance.
  • You’ll maintain a strong understanding of client-specific requirements and expectations.
  • You’ll contribute to process improvement initiatives and support efficiency enhancements.
  • You’ll provide basic technical guidance to preparers while ensuring adherence to established procedures.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU 

  • You are a CPA (or equivalent) with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, and at least 5 years of experience, including 3 years in fund accounting, financial reporting, or audit focused on complex portfolios.
  • You have strong expertise in reviewing financial statements, validating capital calls and distributions, and maintaining accurate fund books in compliance with IFRS/GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • You are highly skilled in analyzing complex transactions and operational processes, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and quality assurance capabilities.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on accuracy, compliance, and high-quality deliverables.
  • You are a collaborative and proactive professional with strong communication skills, able to provide technical guidance, meet tight deadlines, and drive process improvements with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
