Institutional Sales Trader Jobs

About this role

Job Description

To proactively identify, build, manage and advise a portfolio of diverse clients, ensuring that client needs are understood and fulfilled with the right equities, fixed income, derivative or other structured product solutions, to maximize sales return within defined risk parameters while optimizing cross selling opportunities and overall client experience.

Qualifications

Type of Qualification: First Degree

Field of Study: Bachelor's degree in Business Commerce or a related discipline.

Professional Certifications: NSE ATS certification and CISI Level II certification are required

Experience Required
5-7 years

  • Relevant experience in trading deal execution and financial markets analysis.
  • Product knowledge across the Equities business required
  • Seasoned experience in the asset management sector / financial services.
  • Seasoned sales experience within an Equities business, selling across cash equities, fixed income and equity derivatives, with specialization in at least one client sector preferred
  • Experience planning for self and team in line with defined objectives and operational plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Understanding of the risk and regulatory environment
  • Seasoned experience in client relationship management with a demonstrated track record applying judgement, best practice and knowledge of internal or external business environment to solve escalated problems which may have some degree of complexity as well as to improve processes.
