About this role

Job Description

Oaks Sydney North Ryde Suites are looking for Casual Guest Service Agents and Casual Night Guest Service Agents who are passionate about providing excellent customer service to join the team.

The moment a guest steps into our hotel you will make them feel at home with your welcoming and warm presence. You have the important job of guiding guests through their stay, from smooth check-ins and check-outs to insights on local attractions and eateries, and you will be remembered for your superb customer service and positive energy.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide a warm and friendly reception to guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process while addressing any immediate inquiries or needs
  • Maintain clear and courteous communication with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders across various channels, including in-person, phone, and email
  • Oversee the accurate processing of guest reservations, updates, and special requests using property management systems
  • Act as a primary point of contact for guests throughout their stay, offering prompt assistance and resolving issues efficiently

Shift Details (subject to change):

Guest Service Agent (Casual):

  • Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
  • Shift times scheduled within 7:00am to 11:00pm
  • Immediate start available

Night Guest Service Agent (Casual):

  • Shift times: 8.15pm to 6.45am OR 10.00pm until 6am
  • Availability to work multiple overnight shifts per week

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $32.31 per hour + late night penalties

Saturday: $38.78 per hour + late night penalties

Sunday: $45.24 per hour + late night penalties

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

  • Demonstrated background in delivering high-quality service within a hotel, hospitality, or customer-facing environment
  • Exceptional communication skills across in-person, phone, and written channels
  • A proactive, positive approach to guest service with a focus on exceeding expectations
  • A genuine passion for creating positive guest experiences
  • Professional presentation aligned with brand standards
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, and overnight shifts
