About the Role

We’re looking for reliable and energetic Site Assistants to support daily after-school operations and student supervision.

This part-time Assistant will play a crucial role reporting to the Program Coordinator and supporting the successful operation of our youth development and after-school programs, focusing on key areas to ensure quality and compliance.

Schedule: PT 12 a 6pm

In this role, you will:

Assist with daily student check-in and check-out procedures.
Help monitor transitions between activities and ensure proper supervision ratios.
Remain on site until all students have been safely dismissed and the last child has been picked up.
Support Educators in setting up materials and maintaining clean, safe environments.
Communicate supply needs, attendance issues, or incidents to the Site Coordinator.
Assist with managing snack distribution and cleanup.
Provide additional coverage or supervision when needed.
Uphold HOKALI’s safety standards and report any incidents immediately.

Requirements

18+ years of age
An educational background in education, child development, or a related field is highly preferred.
Passion for education and working with kids.
Strong leadership and professionalism skills when working with schools and students.
Experience working in schools and leading large teams.
Ability to engage and inspire students in a fun and educational environment.
Ability and willingness to complete 6 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
