Each holiday season, Christmas at the Princess transforms Fairmont Scottsdale Princess into a breathtaking winter wonderland, welcoming hundreds of thousands of guests for one of Arizona's most celebrated holiday traditions. Featured in People Magazine, CNN, and other national outlets, this award-winning event creates unforgettable experiences through dazzling lights, festive attractions, and exceptional hospitality.

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be reporting to the Christmas at the Princess Operations Manager; responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Building High-Performing Teams

  • Develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
  • Coach and develop team members to maximize performance and guest service.
  • Set and reinforce clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards.
  • Effectively manage and motivate colleagues to achieve operational goals.
  • Ensure successful onboarding and ongoing training for team members.

Living the Culture

  • Lead by example and make thoughtful, guest-focused operational decisions.
  • Deliver engaging, memorable holiday experiences for every guest.
  • Foster a culture of colleague recognition and teamwork.
  • Build a collaborative team that supports the needs of the event.

Operational Excellence

  • Execute daily operational plans, including staffing, communication, and event readiness.
  • Manage labor costs and operating expenses while maintaining service standards.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled, resolving guest concerns, vendor issues, and maintenance requests.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Promote safety and loss prevention through daily operations.
  • Maintain OSHA standards to provide a safe working environment for all colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Seasonal dates of position: October 15th through January 10th  
  • Adhere to Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Grooming Guidelines.
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in TimeSaver, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and POS systems.
  • Current Maricopa County Food Handler Card and Arizona Liquor Server Certification.
  • Demonstrated success in talent development and team leadership.
  • Strong communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak event periods.

Visa Requirements: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
