Are you a hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the front and creating memorable guest experiences?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to support our restaurant, bar, room service and conferencing operations. This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys evening service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about developing people and delivering exceptional hospitality.
This position will primarily work afternoon and evening shifts and requires strong availability across weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
What you'll be doing...
- Lead and support Food & Beverage team members during service periods
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences through personalised and attentive service
- Supervise restaurant, bar, room service and conferencing operations as required
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily operational requirements
- Coach, train and support team members to achieve service excellence
- Monitor service standards and ensure compliance with food safety and company procedures
- Handle guest enquiries and feedback professionally and efficiently
- Support the Food & Beverage leadership team in achieving departmental goals
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture
Qualifications
What we're looking for...
- Previous supervisory experience within a restaurant, bar, hotel or events environment
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Strong food and beverage knowledge
- Current Victorian RSA Certificate
- Availability to work predominantly afternoon and evening shifts, up to 30 hours / week.
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
- A professional and positive attitude with a hands-on approach
