Job Description

Job Summary

The Coordinator, Clinical Research will support the planning, implementation, and management of clinical research studies at Shriners Hospitals for Children. This role involves assisting researchers with various aspects of study conduct, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the advancement of pediatric healthcare through research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure oversight and compliance of system-wide and local clinical research activities.

  • Collaborate with research personnel to ethically recruit and consent pediatric research participants.

  • Coordinate research activities in accordance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and institutional guidelines.

  • Collect, manage, and safeguard research data to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between research participants, investigators, and study sponsors.


Required Qualifications

  • At least one(1) or more years of relevant research experience

  • High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Working knowledge of the clinical research process

  • Knowledge of ethical standards for research and a commitment to protect all participants

  • CCRP or CCRC


The pay range for this position is $26.58 - $39.86. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
