Job Description

Shriners Children's Ohio has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Technician.  Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives.  Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and counts all stocked par levels throughout medical center and replenishes on a daily or as needed basis.

  • Develop and monitor economic order points and par level statistics and adjust to maintain appropriate inventory levels.

  • Receives and process all incoming freight.

  • Coordinates, maintains and updates physical storerooms with system information, including bin locations and correct labels.

  • Assists in cycle counting per schedule and annual inventory as needed.

  • Establishes and maintains the proper and appropriate professional and ethical relationships with all sales representatives.

  • Obtains complete descriptions, catalog numbers and correct pricing of supplies as needed.

  • Processes stock and non-stock requisitions as received and place orders within 24 hours.

  • Ensures supplies and equipment are delivered to requesting departments in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED

  • 2 years supply chain / materials management experience

  • Must have working computer ability/knowledge

  • Valid Ohio drivers license

  • Ability to consistently lift and move items up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge/experience with procurement, medical supplies, inventory control and purchasing procedures


The pay range for this position is $19.97 - $29.95. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
