Responsibilities & Expectations:

The Laborer performs various shop duties as directed by the Shop Supervisor.

        Steam clean and/or sandblast various electrical apparatus assemblies.

        Prepare and paint motor parts.

        Assist in the mechanical, rewind and machine shop as directed by the Shop Supervisor

        Scrap electrical apparatus.

        Operate machinery as designated by the Shop Supervisor.

        Keep the shop clean at all times.

        Observe all safety procedures and use proper PPE.

        Keep the work area neat and clean.

        Ensure company safety policies and OH&S regulations are followed.

        Perform any other duties as assigned by the Shop Supervisor.

Qualifications and Competencies:

        High School Diploma.

        Basic mechanical aptitude.

        Good communication skills both oral and written in the English language.
