Laborer

Responsibilities & Expectations:

The Laborer performs various shop duties as directed by the Shop Supervisor.

●        Steam clean and/or sandblast various electrical apparatus assemblies.

●        Prepare and paint motor parts.

●        Assist in the mechanical, rewind and machine shop as directed by the Shop Supervisor

●        Scrap electrical apparatus.

●        Operate machinery as designated by the Shop Supervisor.

●        Keep the shop clean at all times.

●        Observe all safety procedures and use proper PPE.

●        Keep the work area neat and clean.

●        Ensure company safety policies and OH&S regulations are followed.

●        Perform any other duties as assigned by the Shop Supervisor.

Qualifications and Competencies:

●        High School Diploma.

●        Basic mechanical aptitude.

●        Good communication skills both oral and written in the English language.
